Ultimate Cleaning Plan....

talk about good organization...
check out THIS blog,
titled: Establish A Cleaning Plan

I love how you can download the lists she does-- for free!
it motivates me to do things in a different way so it is EASIER on me,
which I really need right now.

Spending HOURS each time we need to show our house to get it "show able" is exhausting-
I can't do it anymore. As much as I think about it, or dream about it- I just can't.
It's very frustrating!!
With my health, I struggle to keep everything clean each day-
I just don't have that type of energy.

A wise friend who has been in my shoes told me,
"Pick you battles. Even if it's only 1 per day- know you limits."
So I did just that-

My daily battle is my kids.

They are #1-
on my good days, I will chose more battles to add.
I got to thinking....

how can I minimize my HOURS of cleaning to a 30 minute (or 1 hour) tidy-up??
That is my goal---
this will reduce my stress, help me feel in control of my house,
and hopefully allow me to get better sleep at night.
It's like spring cleaning in the fall..... sounds good to me!!

**PS- i just created a weekly cleaning schedule, and daily cleaning schedule.

*Do you have a cleaning schedule??? Please share!!

  2. I like this.

I have actually been thinking about making cleaning charts/schedules for myself. I always feel behind and overwhelmed. If I could pace myself through the week I think I could get it done and feel on top of things.

  3. I would love a copy of your schedule! I have tried to make them in the past, but it just hasn't worked out the way I want it. I love your layout! trent and carlie AT gmail DOT com. :)

  4. These look great and maybe just what I'm in need of with my little family. It seems we've tried EVERYTHING else. I'd love to be able to get a clearer look to see just what you've typed so I can create my own.

    Thanks

  5. Funny, I have a schedule/chart for the boys but not for me.

I've tried having one for myself but I'd beat myself up or get overwhelmed if I didn't stick to the schedule.

My dailies are the dishes (which includes the counter tops and stove), a load of laundry, and sweeping. Then 15 minutes of anything that needs to get done cuz I can't looking at how dirty it is anymore.

For the last few weeks I've felt so overwhelmed with everything I want to get done that I should try a schedule again.
