Do you have Halloween Spirit?

So last weekend, we decided to get out of the house.
We took the kids to a Halloween store-
Spirit Halloween
(in AF behind Target)

looking for some bunny ears for Rylie's costume this year.
I had not been to this store before-
and didn't know what to expect.
it was A.W.E.S.O.M.E.

After Rylie and Carson realized all the displays were like toys,
push the button and it "does something"
they were in heaven!
Even if it was just a fake dead guy crawling across the floor,
or a creepy clown display,
or a monster jumping up out of a pretend garbage can to startle you-
We ended up staying there for over an hour!!

Now I am pretty sure that there isn't much that will "spook" my kids this year-
they know that Halloween is just for fun.
Although I wasn't planning this family outing,
I am glad we went and exposed the kids to the Halloween craziness.
It makes me sad when little kids get scared and have nightmares after this time of year.

So I recommend going there-
and just walking around with you kids!
Let them see that they are just a type of TOY,
and the costumes are just for fun.
Maybe they will enjoy their Halloween candy a little more this year,
knowing that Halloween is just a fun holiday to eat candy and be silly!!

PS- Carson has been asking to go back there for days now! :)
